One of the most important aspect that we found in Infusionsoft is that it allows an easy way to automate the lead capturing process . Indeed we found this so easy and handy where we just need to integrate the landing page or web forms to the website, capture the queries from the leads and segment them properly using the tags. Here is how we started capturing the leads from the WordPress website.
- Created landing page using Infusionsoft and integrated it to the website using Infusionsoft landing page plugin for WordPress. We used Landing page mostly for the sales campaign that we used to run each year.
- Created webforms (campaign) in Infusionsoft and integrated the unstyled code provided by Infusionsoft to the WordPress website and styled it accordingly. We have been using webforms to collect the queries, questions and inquiries from the leads.
- Used proper tags to segment those leads captured. This has helped us to categorize the leads based on the follow-up and sales process we’ve streamlined. Proper tagging has helped a lot during the reporting and analysis period.
2. Follow up automation
Communication is one of the key aspect in business success. We wanted to leave not a single loophole in the communication and that came into existence after we started using the campaigns in Infusionsoft. This has helped us to make sure that none of the leads will fall through the cracks. This process we had implemented using Infusionsoft campaign builder, was so elegant and easy plus it allowed to tackle different types of leads in our own way; according to our preferences.
The core concern we had was how easily customers can reach us and how do we hear their voice efficiently and effectively. All this was achieved using series of forms and the interaction automation we implemented on Infusionsoft.

Since we were offering some sales (few times a year), email broadcasting was one of the major features we needed the most. Infusionsoft broadcasting feature is so handy that it allowed us to enable the A/B Testing for the broadcast and we were able to figure out how things can go well?
This way we were able to make all the sales or any other important announcements to a specific set of contacts using broadcast feature of Infusionsoft. Broadcast in Infusionsoft is quite easier, just select the template, name the subject, select the contact and boom.
4. Appointments Management
We were using ScheduleOnce by Oncehub to manage our appointments. One of the major aspects of ScheduleOnce is, it has enabled a quick and stepwise integration with Infusionsoft. Once the setup was done all of our appointments were linked to Infusionsoft and we were able to manage everything from one dashboard.
5. Sales Automation
Using Infusionsoft we were able to automate the sales process, create the quote, accept payment, create order and most importantly receive the installment payments in recurring manner.
We then automated the tasks and then sales team was on the top of everything who made sure that there were no cracks on the follow-up.
We also used the order forms to collect the payment from the customers. The new order forms are all responsive, which made quite easier for the customers as well.
6. Referral Program
Setting up referral program with Infusionsoft is also quite interesting and the tracking is quite powerful as we’ve seen few other affiliate program tools which were not able to track effectively and a lot had to be done manually.
The only thing we did out of Infusionsoft track was to setup the partner center in our own website where we added all the partner related materials and our referral partners were quite happy with that.
